Atoseho

A public board where work can be found, and a small bid can move it up.

Atoseho leaderboard, with ranked listings and the price to hold a spot

Overview

Atoseho means push it up. A person submits a project, a shop, or a service. A free listing stays free and sits lower. A bid moves it higher, and it stays there until someone bids more.

The rule is public. Highest bid first. If two bids match, clicks break the tie. No subscription, no fixed slot, no editor in the middle.

Built first for Madagascar and the diaspora. The board is in English, French, and Chinese. Listing is open to other places too.

Challenge

Good work was hard to find. The places that listed it were either a directory nobody opened, or an ad slot with a fixed price. A tour operator, a developer, a shop, a new app: they already did the work. They needed a place a buyer could scan, and a way to move up without buying a campaign.

The board had to make the rule obvious. If the ranking felt hidden, the bid would feel like a trick. If the page felt like a classifieds site, nobody would trust it with a payment.

Outcome

We designed the board, built it, and wired payments. Submit a listing, pick a category, bid if you want the higher row. Ranked spots start small. The point is not a big ad budget. The point is a clear place where the work can move up.

The result is a live board. A buyer can scan it. A maker can move up. The rule is on the page, not in a sales call.
